It’s never too early to think of the future, which is exactly what these vivacious clients did when they contacted ADC Design Consultant Hillaire Long to completely renovate their primary bathroom.

Their goal was to create a beautiful, functional space that accommodates the future of aging in place. The custom tiled shower features a zero entry that allows for the possibility of easy wheelchair access with no curb to cross over, and it’s large enough to maneuver once the wheelchair is inside the shower.

The ultimate in luxury are the Ditra Heat heated floors so that the clients never have to feel cold tile on their feet. Subway tile lends an edgy look in the shower while the intricately patterned wallpaper brings a sense of calm to the space. Aging in place never looked so stylish.
