Curated Style

“It’s fun to work with friends. The homeowners are fun and open to bold ideas. They travel world-wide and have curated their home with unique finds. When we designed their bathroom remodel, I played off their very sleek, modern style, yet repeated the organic elements that bring unity throughout their home,” states Paige Charbonneau, ADC interior designer who worked with the homeowners to create their dream bathroom.
Paige worked Mike Vega, owner of Superior Tile and Flooring, to oversee the installation and subcontract the job. He took the cabinet design and had his team site-build them based off Paige’s design.
Paige and Mike relied on each other’s expertise to design the perfect bathroom layout, using large format tile to create an open-air shower and sourcing high-tech finds such as the under-cabinet lighting and light up, fogless mirror, as well as the heated towel rack. Paige selected a sleek, dark anthracite porcelain tile for the flooring to contrast against the large-format tumbled marble that is used in the shower and extends to the ceiling and across one wall. A teak-looking mosaic tile was used as the shower floor, one that you might find in an outdoor, open shower.
“We discovered a hidden gem when searching for the ultimate countertops at Stone Works. I saw a corner of this phenomenal honed marble and knew we had to have it,” says Paige. Hardware and the free-standing tub were sourced from Coburns.
Paige also assisted in the selection of modern Hunter Douglas window treatments throughout their home and drapery in the primary bedroom.
