Lynell Brackman - Interior Designer/Sales for Builder Services

Lynell has been with Anderson Design Center for over 20 years, working with contractors and builders in our Builder Services department. She specializes in new construction design and enjoys working alongside builders, helping them select beautiful products for their new homes.

After graduating from The University of Southern Mississippi in 1982 with a bachelor's degree in Interior Design and a minor in Art, Lynell moved to Jackson, MS to begin her career in interior design. After 15 years of working in the Jackson area, she and her family moved back home to Hattiesburg, where she joined our design team.

Lynell is married to her high school sweetheart, Dale, and together they have two sons, Nick and Tyler (daughter-in-law Meagan). Her pride and joy is her grandson, Braxton. Lynell and her family attend CrossPoint Community Church.

Paige Charbonneau - Interior Designer

With a flair for colors, textures, and patterns, Paige uses her passion for interior design to create unique spaces for each client. After graduating from The University of Southern Mississippi in 2007, Paige joined our team as an Interior Designer and has enjoyed serving customers in a variety of capacities, ranging from new constructions to remodels, home additions, multi-family dwellings, kitchen and bath design, and light construction.

When asked what she likes best about interior design, Paige states, "Everything! I like when I can design something that not only pleases my client aesthetically, but also serves a purpose and can still be relevant in 10 years." While Paige enjoys all aspects of interior design, her special interests include window treatments, rugs, furniture, wallpaper, flooring, lighting, and bedding.

Elizabeth Cockrell - Interior Design Project Manager/Sales for Builder Services

Elizabeth graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science in Residential Construction Management and a Minor in Art. She joined our Builder Services team in 2017, after working for several years as Design Project Manager at Sherwin Williams. Her design portfolio includes creating a blend of color schemes and flooring for the Hattiesburg Area Association of Realtors building on Classic Drive

Elizabeth has a passion to work with clients to create and implement designs for their home or work space. She enjoys getting to know her customers, learning their design taste and needs and helping them design their ideal space with the right products for their usage. She finds it rewarding when customers are pleased and excited about their space that was designed especially for them.

Elizabeth and her husband live in Hattiesburg with their two young children. Fun facts:
  • Elizabeth's dream home would be positioned where she could sit on the porch with her family and view the beauty of God's creation.
  • She grew up riding horses and rodeoing and hopes to teach her children the sport once they are older.

Mallory Donald - Interior Designer/Department Manager

Originally from Pascagoula, Mississippi, Mallory moved to Hattiesburg to attend college at the University of Southern Mississippi. While studying interior design at USM, Mallory completed her internship at Anderson's during the summer of 2012 and was hired to join the rug and furniture team immediately after.
Mallory is experienced in computer design, specializing in 3D models and computer aided drafting. She is trained in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Chief Architect, Revit and many others. She also enjoys hand drafting, sketching, and rendering, winning numerous awards at ASID competitions while in college.
She is currently the buyer and visual merchandiser in the rugs and furniture gallery. Her knowledge of rugs and custom furniture along with her love for design can help transform any space into a clients beautiful vision.

Elana Ficken - Interior Designer

After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from The University of Southern Mississippi, Elana and her husband, Seth, made their way to the unique city of Asheville, NC, known as the furniture capital of the world. It was there that Elana gained a wealth of knowledge about well-designed furniture, working with both contemporary and transitional design at a home furnishings store called Four Corners Home. While in Asheville, Elana was featured in Nest Magazine, a publication that features upcoming professionals, businesses, and real estate in North Carolina and Virginia.

After almost four years away, the Fickens made their way back to Hattiesburg. Elana joined Anderson Design Center as an Interior Designer in the Rug and Furniture Gallery. As part of our team, she is able to utilize her skills and keen sensitivity to quality furnishings, color, and the psychology that works behind the scenes of the spaces she creates. Her clients come first and foremost as she strives to provide a pleasing space that utilizes both the practical needs of the homeowners, as well as the beauty and aesthetic aspects. With the knowledge that one can feel displaced in their own home, her focus is to help create a sense of place for her clients. In her opinion, this is perhaps one of the greatest needs of the human psyche.

Jimmy Hughes - Cabinetry Department Sales

Jimmy is a native Texan who relocated to Hattiesburg from Little Rock, AR. He attended Mississippi College in Clinton, MS, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. While living in Arkansas, Jimmy worked as an Interior Designer with the largest design firm in Arkansas, with five locations state wide. He decorated the Arkansas Governor's Mansion and worked with numerous designers in collaboration for the White House Christmas Tour during the Clinton administration.

Kitchen and Bath Cabinetry is Jimmy's specialty at Anderson Design Center, however, he provides all interior design services to his clients in the Pine Belt area. Jimmy is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).

Kim Johnson has helped a large number of clients in updating and redesigning their homes over the past 17 years since earning her Interior Design degree from Southern Miss.

Alicia graduated with honors from the University of Missouri '“ Columbia in 2010 earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Studies with an emphasis in Interior Design and a minor in Art. She is a member of the Mississippi Chapter US Green Building Council and is currently pursuing USGBC Green Associate certification.

In pursuit of making this world a better place, Alicia participated in a two week study abroad adventure; sailing the US and British Virgin Islands studying Eco-Resorts and other green building systems. In addition, she was part of an internship with the City of Columbia, MO as a Program Assistant for a LEED Neighborhood Development Feasibility Study .

Alicia is proficient in 3D modeling, computer aided drafting, digital layouts, and visual merchandising. She has ample experience in Photoshop/InDesign, 3D Studio Max, Sketchup, and Autocad.

Before joining the Anderson design team, Alicia served in US Air Force as a Crew Chief on the KC-10A Extender (tanker) aircraft stationed in northern California. In 2005, she deployed with the 380th Expeditionary Wing in support of Operations Iraqi & Enduring Freedom. Following her enlistment, she worked in Mizzou's Veteran's Center, assisting her fellow veteran's with their transition from military to academic life.

Betty Parrish brings a level of knowledge and expertise to each client's project that helps make their experience at Anderson's an enjoyable one. As the Senior Design Consultant at Anderson Carpet One Floor & Home, Betty graduated from the first School of Interior Design at The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. She has received extensive training in the proper materials and installation methods necessary for many types of flooring, specifically custom tile showers and unique kitchen backsplashes, making these some of her favorite areas to design.

Betty's many years of training and experience have not only kept her up to date on current design trends, but have helped her remain in touch with our local community and its design needs. Since beginning her career at Anderson's nearly 20 years ago, Betty has developed a loyal clientele that is now reaching to the second generation of families she works with.

Tiffany Robinson - Designer

Growing up with a passion for decorating, renovating, and drawing floor plans, Tiffany decided at a young age that interior design was her calling. Originally from Wiggins, MS, Tiffany commuted to Hattiesburg to fulfill her dream of becoming a designer by attending The University of Southern Mississippi's Interior Design Program. She was a member of the Student Chapter of the American Society of Interior Design, and served as an officer for a short time as treasurer. Tiffany's recognitions and awards include the Terrell E. Wise scholarship, Bobby Chain Endowment scholarship, and two Gold Level Awards for Product Design and Small Scale Residential at the 2016 ASID South Central Student Design Competition. She remained on the President's List at USM for most of her time there.
